Salary: $1685 / Week

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistantwithin the last three years

+ Graduate from certified nursing assistant program withsubsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per staterequirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and ingood-standing

+ Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Total Weekly Gross (40 hrs): $1,685/week

+ Untaxed Housing Stipend: $500/week

+ Untaxed Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $225/week

+ Hourly Rate (Taxable): $15/hour

+ Overtime Rate: $45/hour

? Requirements:

+ Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a state psychiatric hospital

+ 2 years of experience preferred

+ Active CNA certification (Colorado)

+ BLS certification required

+ Strong communication, de-escalation, and patient observation skills
