    We are proud and excited to offer summer internships for 2025 across several of our different office locations and are currently seeking a **powerED Operations Intern** to join our team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you would support our PowerED team by attending school engagements and working with local students on why sustainability in the built environment is so important.

    Our B.L.U.E. (Build, Learn, Understand, Enrich) Summer Internship Program is purposefully designed to inspire your imagination and help you guide your career with purpose. You’ll be an integral part of McKinstry with hands-on experience, mentorship and a healthy dose of fun. Our program delivers depth and real experience so that you can truly evaluate potential career paths within the work we do.

    What we look for in our PowerED Operations nterns:

    + Comfortable with presenting and working with K-12 students.

    + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel (priority), PowerPoint, Outlook, and AutoCAD required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

    + College Junior standing or higher is required.

    + Working toward an Environmental Studies degree, Sustainability, or a related field is required.

    + Availability starting in August 2025 part-time; 15-20 hours a week throughout the school year.

    + Ability to travel from job sites.

    + Must be 18 years of age or older

    What are our Business Operations Interns responsible for:

    _Project Support_

    + Support our PowerED team for community/school/site visits and engagements.

    + Get excited about sustainability and the work we do at McKinstry.

    + Comfortable presenting and working with K-12 students.

    + Passionate about sustainability and the environment.

    + Ability to get excited and passionate about the 3 R's.

    _The hourly rate for this role is $24/hr._
