    About the Role

     

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide high-quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have opportunities available across multiple residential facilities throughout Orange County.

     

    Work Setting: Group Homes

     

    Schedule: AM, PM, and NOC shifts available (Full-time & Part-time options)

     

    Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Strong possibility of extension)

     

    Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour (Weekly Pay)

    Qualifications

    + Minimum one year of experience as a Caregiver or DSP

    + Current BLS/CPR certification

    Key Responsibilities

    + Personal Care Assistance – Support individuals with dressing, bathing, toileting, and overall hygiene

    + Household Support – Assist with meal preparation, cleanup, laundry, and other general household tasks

    + Mobility Assistance – Provide help with moving in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and automobiles

    + Activity Engagement – Encourage participation in outings, crafts, entertainment, and community events

    + Direct Support – Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors or nursing staff
