    About the Role

    Are you passionate about supporting students and making a difference in their lives? Amergis Educational Services is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to support students’ emotional, social, and academic success.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Individualized Health Plans (IHPs)

    + Create a supportive and therapeutic environment for students

    + Design and deliver personalized service plans

    + Facilitate smooth transitions between therapy and classroom settings

    + Implement behavioral interventions and positive reinforcement strategies

    + Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff

    + Utilize community resources to support student welfare

    + Collaborate with school staff, interns, and volunteers

    Qualifications

    + Licensure : Professional Educator License with SSW endorsement (required)

    + Education : MSW or LCSW may be required

    + Certifications : CPR, TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, Health certificate

    + Compliance : Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Skills : Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, understanding of HIPAA

    + Age : Must be at least 18 years old
