    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Lead Finance Analyst will provide accounting and finance services in support of the organization’s global business objectives. This role will perform general accounting and finance functions, account reconciliation, and the preparation and presentation of financial statements and analytical reports. The role leads monthly analysis, forecasting, and the annual budgeting process for assigned areas of responsibility, with a particular focus on supporting both domestic and international operations. The Lead Finance Analyst will process business transactions across various areas of the Finance function and support financial activities that span multiple countries and currencies.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Partner with internal and external stakeholders—including international teams and customers—to lead and grow the business; drive financial analysis in assigned areas and prepare monthly results for global management. Collaborate with cross-functional departments on complex business issues that impact financial projections worldwide.

    + Promote and attract optimal capital allocation for both domestic and international operations; develop and maintain global budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with regional financial strategies.

    + Communicate and identify opportunities to deliver best value for customers globally; support management in planning, measuring, and reporting on financial performance across business segments, and identify opportunities to improve profitability through pricing, cost efficiencies, or foreign exchange considerations.

    + Drive the monthly close process for assigned domestic and international entities, including account reconciliations and review of monthly financial reporting packages in compliance with the Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) Manual and relevant international accounting standards.

    + Assist in managing and administering global business systems and procedures. Lead activities to validate the effectiveness of financial controls and update Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation to reflect international regulatory requirements.

    + Develop and promote globally accessible systems, processes, and performance metrics; supervise shared services tasks across international locations in accordance with standard work instructions. Monitor and track key operational benchmarks; lead root cause analysis and develop action plans as needed across regions.

    + Champion the Oshkosh People First competencies to engage, develop, and connect team members across cultures and geographies.

    + Identify and support global continuous improvement projects while leveraging Continuous Improvement Management System (CIMS) tools and concepts. Drive advanced financial analysis across business units and develop innovative solutions that enhance global efficiency and effectiveness.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

    + Six (6) or more years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or treasury, preferably in a multinational environment.

    + Ability to travel up to 10%, including international travel.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work across cultures and time zones.

    + Familiarity with U.S. and international accounting regulations (e.g., IFRS).

    Pay Range:

    $91,800.00 - $153,200.00

     

    The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
