UPMC, CNX Moves program is looking for a Program Coordinator to join the team. This is primarily a Monday through Friday daylight position based out of the Kaufmann Building in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will require some travel on an as-needed basis for site visits and events for the program throughout the Pittsburgh area. Work hours can be flexible.
UPMC has partnered with CNX to create the CNX M.O.V.E.S program. This is a program to get high school students within the partnership to explore and experience summer internship opportunities in the health care sector, in several UPMC locations. This partnership provides a unique opportunity to combine community partnerships and outreach with the health care environment.

Purpose:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the UPMC CNX MOVES program. This includes the conceptualization, organization, implementation, growth and reporting of the program. Responsible for coordinating the overall direction of the program in collaboration with and across departments within UPMC, the University of Pittsburgh and the CNX Mentorship Academy. This role will work directly with high school students to provide exposure to careers in healthcare, mentoring and internship opportunities.
Responsibilities:
+ Implement and oversee the UPMC CNX MOVES Program.
+ Oversee the budget for MOVES Program ($1 million dollars of donated funds and continued endowments).
+ Establish job shadowing, internship, and employment pathways within UPMC and University of Pittsburgh for MOVES participants.
+ Develop and deliver training to UPMC and Pitt recruiters and hiring managers on screening, interviewing, and placing MOVES applicants.
+ Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and business unit leaders across all UPMC and Pitt divisions and departments to place MOVES interns, create shadowing opportunities, and design site visits.
+ Establish a mentorship program for current UPMC MOVES participants.
+ Create and maintain relationships with graduates of the MOVES program.
+ Research, promote, and oversee professional development opportunities for MOVES participants and retain MOVES participants in roles or touchpoints after program graduation.
+ Develop and oversee MOVES events and initiatives, such as ?signing day? and site visits.
+ Represent UPMC and Pitt at community events related to MOVES initiatives in and around Pittsburgh/SWPA.
+ Report on progress and outcomes of MOVES Program to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience in program or project management, or High School and 9 years of work experience including 5 years in program or project management required.
