Northwest Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Associates in Franklin, PA is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Patient Services Representative to join our dynamic team. This Monday through Friday position offers a consistent 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule—no weekends or holidays required—providing a healthy work-life balance while supporting the needs of our patients.

In this role, there is the opportunity to-
+ Greet all patients warmly upon arrival to create a welcoming environment.
+ Guide patients through self-arrival technology or complete check-in at the desk based on their preference.
+ Collect copayments and other applicable payments at the point of service.
+ Confirm and update patient registration and insurance information at checkout.
+ Schedule follow-up appointments within the practice and assist with ancillary service scheduling as needed.
+ Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to financial advocacy resources.
+ Promote and assist with MyUPMC portal registration and explain the Biometrics (fingerprint) program.
+ Help patients navigate the healthcare system with clear instructions and follow up on unresolved needs.
+ Verify insurance benefits with carriers and obtain required patient signatures per HIPAA guidelines.
+ Triage phone calls appropriately and assist with administrative tasks such as scanning and faxing.
Required:
+ Completion of high school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred:
+ Experience with personal computer-based applications, other various office equipment and proficient typing skills.
+ Two years of experience in a medical/billing/fiscal or customer service function.
+ Knowledge of medical terminology.
+ Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems is preferred.
