Description
The health services that became theAnthony L Jordan Health Corporation (http://www.jordanhealth.org/) (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Starting in northeast Rochester, NY, Jordan Health has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants ofRochester, NY (http://www.city-data.com/city/Rochester-New-York.html) and in Canandaigua, N.Y.
Jordan Health is now seeking aDirector of Reimbursementwho, under the guidance of the Chief Business Officer, is primarily responsible for positioning Jordan Health to maximize third party and incentive revenue. This includes analyzing, modeling, and forecasting Health Care Reimbursement systems and negotiations of contracts.

Requirements
TheDirector of Reimbursementwill ensure that:
• Achieved fulfillment of the Billing Department objectives by effectively managing staff and available talent management tools.
• All systems are in place for the Third party and incentive revenue.
• All program outcomes of the 330 grant are strengthened.
• All related revenue opportunities are captured, and reimbursement risk is abated.
• Jordan Health is in full compliance with all financial reporting requirements related to billing and reimbursement.
• New insurance companies are boarded, and rates are negotiated to cover the cost of the center.
• Jordan Health has an effective financial management system related to Third Party Revenue and reimbursement.
Education and Experience Required:
• Four-year degree in Business Management or equivalent outside experience
• Six years of medical billing and collection experience
• Four years of managerial experience in the health care field
• Certified Professional Coder or Certified Medical Biller strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills necessary
• Ability to communicate well with others
Licenses and Certifications:
• Preferred certified Professional Coder by AAPC, CPC, CCSP, or AHIMA credentials required, strong emphasis on ambulatory coding.
Special Skills, Knowledge Required:
Must be proficient in:
• MS Office Applications (Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• eClinicalWorks or other electronic health records
Prefer experience with BridgeIT software tool

Jordan Health is an independent FQHC, with Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation through the National Committee on Quality Assurance. Jordan Health receives funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Jordan Health is a network of outpatient primary care offices with providers who follow a panel of patients. While independent, Jordan Health actively collaborates with the major hospital and healthcare systems in our operating area to provide a total safety net of healthcare services.

$92,100-$97,350/ANNUALLY
