What you'll do at Choctaw Casino & Resort
+ Lead day-to-day operations of our premier fine dining kitchen at 1832, ensuring top-tier food quality and guest satisfaction.
+ Create and present meals that meet the highest culinary standards and align with guest expectations.
+ Design upscale menus and innovative daily specials, including dishes for exclusive VIP events.
+ Collaborate with sommeliers to craft refined food and wine pairings.
+ Supervise and develop a high-performing culinary team through hiring, training, and coaching.
+ Oversee inventory, food cost controls, and kitchen cleanliness in compliance with health and safety standards.
+ Monitor kitchen performance and drive improvements in service, quality, and efficiency.
+ Maintain all food safety protocols and ServSafe standards.
+ Support leadership with additional duties as needed.
The secret ingredients we're looking for:
+ Formal culinary training or equivalent professional experience in upscale dining
+ Current **ServSafe Certification**
+ At least 5 years of experience as a fine dining chef in a high-volume resort, casino, or similar setting
+ Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team
+ Passion for culinary innovation and delivering unforgettable guest experiences
+ Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
