    $47,177 (Master's Degree)

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Depew UFSD is searching for a School Social Worker to assist with mental health concerns, behavioral concerns, and positive behavioral supports. We are interested in candidates that enhance our internal social-emotional health system by providing services that strengthen home, school, and community partnerships and address barriers to learning and achievement.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Coordinate and facilitate the support of students and families that are referred to the Family Support Center.

    + Assist families in accessing and utilizing community resources.

    + Communicate and consult with a variety of school staff in a proficient, student-centered and positive manner.

    + Serve a liaison between home, school, community/private agency to coordinate care and services.

    + Provide family counseling services.

    + Refer, as necessary, to Mental Health Services outside of the school environment.

    + Maintain accurate data and records .

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: NYS certification for School Social Worker

     

    Certified Family Therapist, preferred
