    Manufacturing Summer Camp Teachers - Focus Grades 7-12

     

    Program Dates: Week 1 - July 21 through July 24, 2025, Week 2- July 28 through July 31, 2025

    Qualifications:

    •Current New York State Certificationin Technology Education or a Manufacturing-related CTE field.

    •Technical Expertisein one or more areas: welding, robotics, CAD, CAM, CNC machining, or additive manufacturing.

    •Hands-On Instructionability to engage middle and high school students in technical skills through interactive, project-based learning.

    •Student Supervisionexperience maintaining a safe and productive learning environment in a workshop setting.

    •Safety Knowledgeability to reinforce and follow all safety protocols in a manufacturing education workspace.

    •Adaptability & Energymust be engaging and able to connect with students to build enthusiasm for manufacturing careers.

    •Collaboration & Supportworks under the direction of the Manufacturing Summer Camp Teacher to assist with curriculum delivery and supply acquisition.

    •Industry Experience or Credentialspreferred in a manufacturing-related field, such as welding, machining, robotics, or Computer-Aided Manufacturing.

    •Work Ethic & Reliabilitydependable, responsible, and committed to supporting students' learning and career exploration in manufacturing.
