    Pay:$36 - $40 per hour DOE

    Position Summary:

    The Process Automation Technician is responsible for preforming and providing technical support for installation and maintenance of Winn-Marion developed system and represented products. Possess a blend of technical and mechanical expertise to ensure that all installations are completed to the manufacturers and clients’ specifications. Has the ability to perform duties with minimal oversight or assistance from supervisor as required. The Process Automation Technician is expected to efficiently execute many aspects involved in the commission of process equipment. Must also be adaptable to different working environments including in industrial plants and outdoor locations. This position will require moderate travel, that may include out-of-state projects. All job-related activities are expected to be conducted with safety as the priority and a focus on high level workmanship.

    Job Qualifications:

    + High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

    + 3-5 years of process controls or I&E experience.

    + Basic computer program knowledge of manufacturer specific configuration interfaces. IEC61131-3 is a plus.

    + Strong understanding of Process and Electrical schematic documentation.

    + Previous experience in a process industry, such as oil and gas, water, food and beverage, etc. is ideal.

    + Good customer service skills to answer questions and resolve issues.

    + Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; able to speak, write, and read the English language.

    + Demonstrates problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

    + Possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; able to travel to various locations within territory.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Prepare, install, and provide service maintenance on all company products at client sites, which could include PLC/RTU enclosures, flow/level/pressure/temperature instrumentation and communication hardware.

    + Interpret project documentation in order to complete job to specification.

    + Navigate through PLC/RTU programs for troubleshooting or make configurations changes as needed.

    + Facilitation of system startup on occasion.

    + Wire and make final terminations at industrial control panel and end devices.

    + Establish and promote a positive, friendly, and helpful customer relationship while understanding their operations, needs, and preferences.

    + Gathers and reports to management information regarding product or customer issues.

    + Provides all necessary reports and supporting documentation to management and other departments.

    + Moderate travel by automobile within territory or to branch offices. May require occasional travel by air or vehicle to out of state locations.

    + Complies with all applicable Company safety requirements.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.
