Responsibilities
+ What You'll Do
+ V2X is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Intern to support the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of market and competitor data to drive strategic decision-making. This role will assist in monitoring industry trends, researching competitor activities, and compiling insights that inform business development, product strategy, and market positioning. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the intern will help synthesize complex data into clear, actionable reports and presentations for key stakeholders.

They should be a self-starter eager to learn intelligence-gathering tools and methodologies, track industry trends, and contribute to strategic recommendations. + Key Responsibilities:
+ Research, develop and report competitive intelligence analysis as assigned by the Vice President of Competitive Intelligence
+ Employ and utilize ethical competitive intelligence sources and methods
+ Develop and deliver timely research, report and analysis to competitive intelligence team members
+ Research, summarize and analyze assigned market, customer and competitor topics and questions utilizing analysis tools and resources
+ Learn and employ competitive intelligence analysis techniques, sources and methods
+ Conduct directed research and analysis
+ Effectively utilize research and analysis tools and resources
+ Support the effective integration of competitive intelligence into V2X
+ Support the training and development of competitive intelligence assets
+ Meet or exceed individual performance targets and goals
+ Support the achievement of competitive intelligence team service level and performance targets
Qualifications
+ Minimum Qualifications
+ Education:
+ Bachelor's student any year seeking a degree in business, science, engineering or related field and eligible to participate in the V2X internship program
+ Ability to balance school and workload to assure maintenance of academic grade point average equal to or exceeding 3.0
+ Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week and a maximum not to exceed 32 hours per week
+ Masters degree in science, engineering or related field with experience in competitive intelligence methods and delivery (preferred)
+ Experience:
+ Comfort working with incomplete information
+ Comfort researching, analyzing and reporting on unfamiliar topics, questions and subjects
+ Ability to understand and identify bias in research, analysis and reporting
+ Basic understanding of the competitive intelligence cycle
+ Experience performing gap analysis
+ Experience researching and assessing competitors
+ Experience researching and assessing customers
+ Experience with research and analysis in the US Federal market
+ Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with competitive intelligence cycle and competitive intelligence project elements
+ Experience with competitive assessment
+ Experienced with researching, analyzing and summarizing customer requirements
+ Ability to research, analyze, summarize and convert customer requirements into useful forms of information
+ Experience with basis of estimates
+ Experience with pricing
+ Experienced with Price to Win
+ Experience with competitive intelligence analysis methods, tools, approaches and practices
+ Experience with mathematical or engineering models and methods
+ Experience with secondary or primary sources
+ Experience with market intelligence
+ Experience with Black Hats
+ Experience with research and analysis in the US DOD market
+ Experience in Foreign markets
+ Experience developing training for competitive intelligence analyst
+ Experience training competitive intelligence analyst
+ Experience with proposal, estimating or pricing
+ Ability to present qualification for this role effectively through the application process
+ Advanced understanding of the competitive intelligence cycle and its use
+ Experience with advanced research and analysis tools and methods
+ Competitive Intelligence Certification through Graduate Certificate or Certified Coursework
+ Other Requirements:
+ Ability to travel occasionally on a not to interfere with school basis
+ Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet project needs and balance school/grades

+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $22-$30
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
