Overview
The Director Logistics Requirements (DLR) serves as the director and coordinator of logistics and supply chain requirements for the LOGCAP V program, overseeing all supply chain requirements for all LOGCAP V Task Orders and is responsible for the management, development and supervision of global logistical planning in support of LOGCAP V contingency operations worldwide, r eporting directly to the Executive Director - Operations. The director works in direct coordination with LOGCAP V planners, and the Task Order Managers and defines requirements for the supply chain organization. Plans within GCCs are to be developed to reduce response time, set conditions for future operations, and shape logistical operations within GCCs. The right candidate has military and contactor operational and logistics experience with a working knowledge of US Army logistics network. The position requires a solid understanding of service contracts within the Army and DOD, how to determine appropriate level-of-effort as contractually defined, and the appropriate relationship between contractors, supply chain, and senior operational staff.
The candidate will be expected to provide subject matter expertise on all military logistics matters during the bid and proposal or estimating phase as well as oversee all operational and administrative matters during the Program and Task Order execution phase.

+ Under general direction of the Executive Director – Operations, is responsible for the development of vast logistics network and strategy to support global contingency operations
+ Ensures vendor or subcontractor support SOW are completed, bid to support global logistics network
+ Establishes key milestone execution tracker, allocation of tasks and timeline to support logistic operations
+ Must possess the ability to review technical exhibits and generalized strategies into well defined, executable plan
+ Will coordinate directly with USG, STT Planners and supply chain organization to build and execute logistics plans
+ Coordinate directly with other support entities, which may include contracting, legal, and finance
Qualifications
+ Education/Certifications : One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
+ College degree, MBA preferred
+ Must be able to possess and maintain a Secret security clearance
+ Must have an active US passport
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Experience
+ Minimum fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in position of overall project management and logistics
+ Previous budgetary, scheduling and forecasting experience is required
+ Previous military or LOGCAP contracting experience is required
+ Skills
+ Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Application Software
+ Must have proof of U.S. Citizenship and a valid state driver’s license and must be eligible for access throughout the project geographic scope
+ Project management skills needed to manage resources, scheduled, and costs
+ Must read, write and speak English
+ Must be deployable in support of global contingency operations
+ Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities
+ Responsible for the health, welfare, security of all direct employees
+ Provides direct supervision to logistics planning cell
+ Other Requirements
+ Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
+ Must be able to lift/push/pull 25 lbs.; Work will require walking up and down stairs, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
+ Travel required at least 50% of the time.
+ MANDATORY JOB QUALIFICATIONS for V2X LOGCAP positions:
+ As a precondition to charge more than 50% of their time to LOGCAP, must be able, willing and ready to deploy to domestic and international locations, including on a temporary basis and / or as a member of the V2X Rapid Deployment Team (RDT). These locations can include austere, remote, and hazardous areas where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
