Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
+ This is a highly visible role reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting. This role supports General Ledger & Financial reporting functions for V2X Inc.
+ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Trial Balance review, month-end close reporting; preparing and reviewing account reconciliations; reviewing flux analyses. Responsible for preparing schedules and other accounting data for external accountants to support audits of our financial statements. Drives process improvement and resolution for payroll related balance sheet accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assists with month-end/quarter-end closes.
+ Prepare/Review Journal entries and account reconciliations during/after close related to the payroll accounting group.
+ Assisting in leading and training the payroll accounting group.
+ Maintain month-end close task lists for entries and reconciliations related to payroll
+ Work very closely with the business managers to ensure timely close and competition of account reconciliations.
+ Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards if there are any new standards in the future.
+ Follow and abide by Corporate internal control guidelines.
+ Be the go-to for team members payroll accounting related questions.
+ Work closely with the Compliance department to support DCAA/DCMA audits and Accounting System audits.
+ Act as primary liaison for External Audit inquiries related to payroll GL.
+ Plan/work with Internal and External Auditors to remain SOX compliant.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education:
+ Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of directly related work experience
+ Experience:
+ 5+ years of Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting
+ 5+ years of General Ledger Month-End Close experience
+ 5+ years of financial statement Audit experience
+ Desired Qualifications:
+ CPA obtained or in progress, preferred
+ Experience with account reconciliations of large multinational organization
+ Government contracts experience is highly preferred
+ Prior experience dealing with Internal Auditors/External Auditors/DCAA and DCMA
+ Other Requirement:
+ United States citizenship, required
+ Software:
+ Microsoft Office 365 suite, including SharePoint. SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, IFS
+ Technology:
+ Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.

+ The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $ 70,000 - 115,000
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
