    Responsibilities

    + What You'll Do

    + V2X is seeking a skilled, innovative, and energetic Competitive Intelligence Analyst Lead to drive data-driven insights and guide strategic decision-making as we expand our operations globally. This role will be responsible for developing and executing competitive intelligence strategies, gathering, and analyzing market and competitor data, and delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders across the organization. The Competitive Intelligence Analyst Lead will oversee the collection, synthesis, and dissemination of intelligence to inform business growth, positioning, and innovation strategies. This leader will establish frameworks, processes, and tools to enable timely and accurate competitive analysis, ensuring the organization remains ahead of market trends and competitor moves. The ideal candidate is adept at translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for leadership teams. Additionally, they will provide day-to-day direction to intelligence analysts and collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and business development teams to deliver impactful insights.

    + The ideal candidate is not only highly analytical and detail-oriented but also has the leadership and communication skills necessary to inspire and manage a high-performing team. They have a strong understanding of competitive intelligence methodologies, market research tools, and emerging industry trends, and they thrive in fast-paced environments where strategic insights drive transformative outcomes.

    + Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead, manage and deliver competitive intelligence analysis and estimates as directed and assigned by the Vice President of Competitive Intelligence

    + Employ and utilize ethical competitive intelligence sources and methods

    + Develop and deliver timely advisory to Business Leadership, Competitive Intelligence Leads and internal competitive intelligence customers on V2X competitive positioning

    + Develop and deliver independent, accurate, confident and defensible competitive intelligence estimates

    + Develop and deliver customer assessment estimates

    + Develop and deliver competitor assessment estimates

    + Develop and deliver competitive pricing analysis

    + Conduct independent research and analysis

    + Lead and effectively employ research and analysis resources, as assigned

    + Assure the effective integration of competitive intelligence into V2X

    + Train, development, mentor, and support assigned competitive intelligence assets

    + Meet or exceed individual performance targets and goals

    + Meet or exceed competitive intelligence team service level and performance targets

    Qualifications

    + Minimum Qualifications

    + Education: One-year related experience may be substituted for each year of education, if degree is required.

    + Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field with 8 years of experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods, and delivery

    + Master’s degree in science, engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods, and delivery preferred

    + Experience:

    + Experience in improving teams and organizational competitive position and ability to win

    + Experience developing competitive intelligence estimates and providing business leadership decision support leveraging incomplete information

    + Experience analyzing, synthesizing, and disseminating competitive intelligence estimates related to unfamiliar topics, questions and subjects

    + Experience developing, delivering, and presenting unbiased analysis

    + Experience with the Competitive Intelligence Cycle

    + Experience in managing complex competitive intelligence projects

    + Experience in analyzing complex competitive environments

    + Experience leading primary and secondary source collection and analysis

    + Experience independently analyzing, summarizing, and communicating customer requirements including contract line items, statement of work, performance work statements, performance specifications, proposal instructions, evaluation methods/standards and all other solicitation supporting information

    + Experience independently identifying, assessing, mitigating, and communicating gaps, risk and opportunity in customer solicitation requirements

    + Experience independently converting customer solicitation requirements into competitive assessment estimates

    + Experience in accurately identifying likely competitor approaches to customer requirements

    + Experience in accurately assessing likely customer acceptable competitor bid approaches

    + Experience independently converting competitor offer approaches into accurate competitor assessment estimates

    + Experience in supporting the development of competitive solution architecture estimates

    + Experience developing Competitive Assessment

    + Experience in ad hoc and real-time individual and team analysis and strategy development

    + Experience in US Federal market competitive assessment development and delivery

    + Preferred Qualifications

    + Proven track record of competitive assessment accuracy

    + Experience supporting the development of Top-Down or Bottom-Up Price to Win

    + Experience in US Defense and US Civilian agency competitive assessment development and delivery

    + Experience with US Federal or SLED market solicitation response, proposal development, estimating, pricing, business development, capture, sales or marketing

    + Experience with advanced competitive assessment analysis, methods or tools

    + Experience supporting the development of market intelligence (preferred)

    + Experience supporting the development, facilitation or execution of Black Hat

    + Experience in Foreign defense and aerospace competitive solution architecture development

    + Experience with Foreign Military Sales

    + Experience with classified competitive intelligence solution architecture development

    + Experience training competitive intelligence analyst

    + Experience developing training for competitive intelligence analyst

    + Competitive Intelligence Certification through Graduate Certificate or Certified Coursework

    + Other Requirements:

    + United States Citizenship required

    + Ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance

    + Ability to travel – 10%

    + The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

    + The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

    + USD $120,000-170,000

    + Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
