Position Overview
The Simulator Technician Maintenance III position supports the Army Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) contract.
Responsibilities / Duties
+ The Electronics Technician Maintenance III position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic equipment for Aviation and Transportation School TADDS.
+ Perform PMCS, troubleshoot, and isolate faults.
+ Utilize spare/repair parts to address faults in accordance with technical guidelines.
+ Research and select necessary repair parts.
+ Enter work order data into the online management information system.
+ Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond standard manuals.
+ Supervise, provide directions to, and check lower-level technicians’ work.
+ Ensure recording of all maintenance actions in the Management Information System (MIS).
+ Manage site supply, warehousing, and storage to support maintenance and document parts usage.
+ Ensure site employees complete contractual and company-required training timely.
+ Other duties may be assigned
+ This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS Locations
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+ B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology from an accredited university and 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology and 5 years of experience, Or 14+ Years of Experience in lieu of Degree
+ Certification(s): Basic Electronic Technical Certificate
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
+ Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges
+ Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
+ NACI background check required.

+ Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service and decision-making skills
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
+ **PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
+ Stand for long periods of time.
+ Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
+ Bend, squat, climb, and reach.
+ Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
+ The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
+ May be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
+ Experience utilizing test equipment to include: torque wrenches, volt/micrometers, network cable crimping/testers and solder stations to support repairs
