    Summary You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the USMC, MARFORPAC of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will manage the day-to-day operations of the U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) Command Security Office and the MARFORPAC Information and Personnel security programs. You will coordinate with the Command Security Manager to maintain a robust Security Education, Training and Awareness (SETA) program for Headquarters, MARFORPAC personnel. You will identify program deficiencies, communicate program needs to the Security Manager orally and in writing, and execute corrective action. You will assess Information and Personnel Security program management processes and procedures of MARFORPAC to measure policy compliance. You will be the Alternate Contracting Officer's Security Representative (ACOSR) responsible for ensuring that all Industrial Security functions and requirements are accomplished within MARFORPAC. You will serve as the Officer in Charge and is responsible for day-to day operations and technical authority for all Classified Material Control Center matters. You will conduct inspections and evaluate the effectiveness of the Classified Material Control Center within MARFORPAC in accordance with policies and procedures. You will be the Alternate Top Secret Control Officer (ATSCO) responsible for maintaining accountability of all Top Secret documents within Headquarters, MARFORPAC. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating and formulating policy positions, interpreting and correlating large amounts of information from various sources pertaining to security programs, and managing programs for Information Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, and Classified Materials Control Center. Education Additional Information A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
