Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for administration and coordination of one or more subject matter programs within a department. Maintain and implement policies of the program and support communication of outcomes to stakeholders. Plan meetings to ensure goals of the program are discussed and reached. Collect and report on feedback on the success and/or failure of certain projects and activities. Provide consultative services including training and education as needed. Assists with the creation and communication of marketing and communication materials, which may include working with a central resource. May support program budgeting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Recruitment, Admissions, and Alumni Relations Coordinates with GEPA on admissions and application process
+ Respond to inquiries from prospective applicants
+ Plans, organizes, and manages virtual and on-site recruitment activities with alumni and prospective students
+ Marketing and Promotion including website and social media management
+ Develops and maintains current department’s social media and web presence
+ Develops bi-monthly newsletter
+ Manages all media to include producing training, promotion, and event videos as well as capturing student, faculty, and guest lectures through photography
+ Student Records and Registration Develops, manages, tracks, and monitors all official, confidential academic records for current SMD graduate students ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of records
+ Coordinates and monitors registration each semester for graduate and certificate programs Generates and approves forms for all graduate student scholarships
+ Works directly with the Bursar, Registrar and GEPA Offices on academic issues
+ Student Support Serves as point of contact for students
+ Provides guidance and interpretation of academic policies
+ Builds relationships and interacts with GEPA
+ Course Schedule/Course Maintenance Develops, manages, and delivers all the semester-based course information and classroom schedules to the Center for Experiential Learning Processes transfer credit and course waiver requests in accordance with policy
+ Verifies that advisory/examination committees meet University and School requirements
+ Conference Coordination and Special Events Planning
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience required
+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
+ Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously required
+ Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting required
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
+ Proficiency with data analysis tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite required
