Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing operational, instructional, and technical projects and serve as a subject matter expertise to internal customers – C&W Services (CWS) Human Resources, Client Services, Corporate Functions, Executive Leadership - for matters relating to HR data, systems, processes, policies, and projects. Additionally, this person will be responsible for overseeing and implementing HR process design as well as ownership and distribution of HR related data. This role requires strong project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of HR processes and practices.
Job Description
• Lead, plan, and manage the execution of CWS HR specific projects – Proactively manage expectations, develop and lead project team(s), provide guidance, disperse deliverables among team members, identify any potential roadblocks, resolve issues, track progress, ensure thorough completion, and remain in communication with stakeholders.
• Advise leadership on business-critical decisions that require an HR perspective to ensure our employees are supported and advocated for.
• Lead adoption and execution of Global initiatives into the CWS technical/process space as well as serve as the HR point-of-contact for CWS Corporate initiatives
• Critical subject matter expert and point-of-contact for Global Centers of Expertise (COE’s) relating to programs such as annual merit and bonus, performance management process, training campaign launches, etc. Primary coordination, education, and execution oversight
• Influence and prioritize improvement project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and milestones as well as current and future business needs
• Onboard new Human Resource professionals to include providing the appropriate access to needed HR systems and train on the business automation tools that CWS uses. May train directly or will secure the appropriate subject matter expert to provide training.
• Publish and analyze reports, conduct trend analysis, provide CWS ExCo and other leaders with specific data requests
• Lead employee recognition programs specific to CWS; improve upon, expand, and rebrand to ensure alignment with current business needs
• Manage Guusto platform for Spot Award program (add/remove users, disperse funds, audit usage, maintain vendor relationship)
• Perform regular data audits utilizing Workday, Kronos, and JDE systems to ensure data integrity; work with functional departments to assist them with data cleansing initiatives
• Review and update current CWS HR owned policies; coordinate approval with functional departments (legal, ER, LR, benefits, finance, compliance); develop new policies as needed
• Collect feedback from the business around improvements to processes, systems, and overall employee experience; investigate, compile options, advocate for change, and champion execution of identified solution
• Develop communications on behalf of the HR team and identify target audience for notification of new programs, policy changes, critical impacts, etc.; post ServiceNow campaigns to further socialize
• Maintain HR documents on ServiceNow – Policies, QRG’s, submission forms, processes, etc.
• Manage Workday improvements, collaborate with HRS team for buy-in, submit WAC with supporting business case, perform UAT testing, socialize with business
• Coach CWS Manager and Ops Support through Workday transactions
• Provide ad hoc data requests to Senior Leadership and related analyses upon request
• Collaborate with regional HR Directors and HR People Partner’s to assist with training, change management support, data integrity, and analytic needs for local initiatives.
• Coordinate with HR Services on mass updates through EIB templates
• Seek and identify opportunities for increased collaboration and process improvement through the effective use of business technology solutions to drive business success.
REQUIREMENTS
• Post-secondary degree in business management, human resources, accounting or similar preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in HR project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project activities. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
• Must be able to work autonomously and exercise independent judgment.
• Software proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Project, Word, Visio, Teams) and other business efficiency tools or apps such as Smartsheet, PowerBI or Power Automate.
• Must demonstrate an ability to learn and teach various business automation tools. Direct experience with Kronos, Workday, JDE financial systems is desired.
• Highly organized and task focused combined with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and manage a varied workload.
• Ability to recognize, document and optimize business processes.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $106,250.00 - $125,000.00
