CHMC –Radiology Tech Aide – Per Diem -Day Shift - Requisition 8632

Job Grade 6: ($17.24-$23.33)

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Student Tech Aide to support our Radiology Department. This position offers radiologic technology students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. The Student Tech Aide will assist with room preparation, patient transport, equipment organization, and data entry into the electronic medical record (EMR), while observing best practices in patient care and radiologic procedures.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare examination rooms before and between patient visits

+ Transport patients to and from radiology modalities

+ Assist technologists with patient movement and care

+ Enter data into the electronic medical record (EMR) system

+ Maintain and organize radiology equipment and supplies

+ Provide basic patient care such as helping patients dress or undress

+ Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Certification/Licensure:

+ Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technology program (including Rad Tech, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or MRI)

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire

Experience:

+ Completion of at least one year of radiologic technology school preferred
