    PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced **Employee Development Specialist** for a **12-month, full-time consulting assignment** supporting a global aerospace leader in **Everett, WA** . In this high-impact role, you will empower technicians and professionals through strategic learning initiatives, curriculum design, and expert instruction—directly enhancing performance in one of the world’s most advanced industries.

     

    What You'll Do: Make Learning a Launchpad for Excellence

     

    As part of the delivery and facilitation team, you’ll be a key driver of employee capability and operational readiness. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + Defining project scope and recommending deliverables, resources, and budgets for training initiatives

    + Leading curriculum development and updating content, instructional materials, and testing processes

    + Adapting course delivery methods to meet specific business learning objectives

    + Acting as a lead instructor in mechanical, electrical, or quality assurance disciplines

    + Coordinating system access requirements for training participants

    + Identifying performance gaps and implementing solutions that drive measurable improvements

    + Supporting implementation of development tools and monitoring success metrics

     

    This role offers flexible scheduling between **1st shift (5:30 AM – 2:30 PM)** and **2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)** , with openings primarily on 2nd shift. Some 1st shift work may be required during training periods.

     

    What You Bring: Qualifications that Lift You Above

    Required:

    + 3+ years of experience in employee training, development, or instructional delivery

    + Strong background in **mechanical** , **electrical** , or **quality assurance** environments

    + Proven skills in instructional design, facilitation, and performance improvement

    + Ability to translate technical subject matter into clear, actionable learning experiences

    Preferred:

    + Aerospace or advanced manufacturing training experience

    + Familiarity with adult learning methodologies and development tools

    + Experience with performance analysis and process improvement initiatives

    **Pay Details:** $43.59 to $48.44 per hour
