The Opportunity

There is an exciting opportunity within SPM Oil& Gas (COGMD). You'll have the unique opportunity to support our business partners with inventory analysis and compliance.

Job Summary

This role will provide you with exposure to SPM Oil & Gas leadership team by providing inventory cost analysis.

What You Will Do

+ Provide monthly inventory reporting and analysis

+ Responsible for SOX and compliance adherence

+ Analysis of material costs

+ Miscellaneous process improvement projects and ad hoc reporting

What You Will Have:

+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

+ **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

+ **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

+ **Financial Reporting:** Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

+ **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

+ **Financial Analysis:** Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

+ Experience with inventory valuation

Additional Info:

+ This position will be located in our Fort Worth, TX office and adheres to a 5 day in office work model.

+ Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
