This position will support the Meeting Management Technology (MMT) Services mission to enhance organizational effectiveness by linking all Coordinating Centers, Offices and CDC/ATSDR sites with each other and with various other Federal agencies and public health partners through the development of high quality, reliable, audio web and video conferencing services as well as local in room conference audio visual presentation support.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and implement control system programming for audio-visual (AV) systems using Q-SYS other software and hardware.

    + Program DSPs for audio applications to include setting up, calibrating, and tuning the systems as per the technical specifications using hardware such as ClearOne, Biamp or Q-SYS.

    + Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in AV systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This may include analyzing system data, running tests, or revising code as necessary.

    + Provide remote technical support to field technicians during installation, maintenance, and repair of AV systems. This may involve guiding them through complex procedures, interpreting technical specifications, or helping troubleshoot unexpected issues.

    + Perform onsite testing of control system program and system functionality to ensure reliability, stability, and meet the defined performance metrics.

    + Create room layouts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Design2Fab or similar software.

    + Review job specifications and prints for accuracy; modify customer prints for installation.

    + Communicate with sales and shop team members regarding any design changes or issues that arise.

    + Analyze problems and cultivate alternative solutions.

    + Produce detailed drawings per specifications of customers.

    + Prepare routine layouts, detail drawings, assemble drawings, sketches & diagrams.

    + Perform review of drawing packages for shop execution, resolving of technical issues.

    + Provide back-up support for auditorium B, room captain, responsibilities.

    + Support audio conferencing, Zoom, for online meetings.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Excellent Coordination skills across multiple stakeholder groups.

    + Time management and organizational skills and the ability to comfortably multi-task.

    + Ability to handle change management for new requirements.

    + Excellent analytical skills.

    _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to translate technical information into easily understandable information for customer.

    + Creative skills and usage of drawing, diagrams, and charts to increase users understanding.

    + Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office 365 applications, and CAD programming.
