Description

**SAIC** is seeking an **Engineering Technician** in **Hanahan, SC** .

Job Duties:

+ Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables.

+ Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components.

+ Identify and report design or fitment issues and work with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays.

+ Must be able to multitask and adapt to rapid changes that are made during the build process.

+ Provide technical support during system testing. Must perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

+ High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience.

+ Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.

+ Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism.

+ Candidate must be a US Citizen.

+ Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

+ Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.

Desired Qualifications:

+ Three years experience in maintenance or manufacturing.
