Job Title: Sr Anatomic Pathology Informatics Liaison

Summary:
+ Provide a direct line of support for enterprise operational informatics and Lab System decision-making in Anatomic Pathology to help unify the laboratory process and enhance the oversight of pathology system standardization. Ensure Anatomic Pathology informatics and system alignment with Health System strategic goals. Participate in and lead multiple cross-functional work teams across entities and/or laboratories relating to the development of innovative laboratory and Anatomic Pathology application solutions that achieve successful performance goals for the assigned functions. Serve as an expert technical resource for applications, frameworks, and methodologies in Anatomic Pathology to translate them into technical requirements. Oversee project plans to ensure milestones and project deliverables are met. Use working knowledge of application systems and pathology business processes to identify process improvement initiatives and targeted opportunities for improvements in the applications as they apply to clinical operations. Analyze, design, develop and deliver robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions that connect digital pathology platforms with clinical, research and enterprise systems. Ensure seamless data flow, image management, and workflow optimization, enabling healthcare providers to leverage digital pathology technologies for improved patient care and operational efficiency.Interact closely with Sr. Director, IS, and key stakeholders/users with strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage multiple highly complex projects and initiatives simultaneously through the project life cycle.
+ Identify and closes gaps in informatics and laboratory system builds.
+ Assist with streamlining communication across enterprise Anatomic Pathology, IT and external stakeholders.
+ Define requirements and develop logical data models using best practices for build and configuration, maintenance and data integrity.
+ Under the direction of the Senior Director, work in a self-directed manner to test, document and maintain systems within the boundaries of established protocols.
+ Help to manage the process when implementing system upgrades and scheduled vendor releases as requested to enhance the applications platforms and meet project objectives.
+ Adhere to departmental standards regarding change control to ensure accurate data tracking and monitors the change process by maintaining current protocols and reporting any problems to the Sr. Director.
+ Work with leaders and requestors to determine project scope and complexity
+ recommend the best approach to accomplish project objectives
+ work with customers to determine impacts and timelines.
+ Support clinical, administrative, financial revenue or operational implementations according to the approved capital budget and the approved timelines with quality assurance.
+ Create unified visions through influence and persuasion to achieve shared processes.
+ Participates as an active member of the Laboratory Information Services Management Team.
+ Ensure ongoing support and maintenance of the system through IS staff balancing cost with quality and ongoing system enhancements and optimization.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
+ Education Specialization:Medical Laboratory Science, Computer Science or related scientific field
+ 5+ years Anatomic Pathology Clinical Laboratory Experience
+ 2+ years JIRA, SAP Business Objects, Data Innovations, Microsoft Project
