    Job Summary

    Under moderate direction, performs basic floor care tasks according to highly specific departmental policy and procedures in order to maintain a safe, clean and attractive environment for the community.

    Essential Functions

    + Stripes/waxes and reconditions floor. Shampoos and extracts carpets while operating floor machines proficiently and safely.

    + Cleans all assigned resident and ancillary areas according to policies and procedures.

    + Demonstrates the willingness to meet the needs of the department by assisting fellow employees, residents and their families.

    + Completes duties as assigned and routine assignments within the work shift and performs the assignments without supervisor assistance.

    + Maintains stock levels in all areas while being aware of budget and proper use of supplies.

    + Acts in compliance with all corporate, state, federal and other regulatory standards.

    + Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Range of Pay

    + Pay starting at $15.22.

    Qualifications

    Preferred

    + High school graduate or equivalent.

    + 6 months – 1 year in floor care experience
