    Our team is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join them. You will report to the Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

    To be considered for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

    + Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

    + 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in the aerospace industry

    + Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, processes, and industry standards (e.g., AS9100)

    + Extensive experience with CAD and CAM software, as well as manufacturing simulation tools

    + Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis

    + Strong project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects

    + Familiarity with CNC machining, composites, additive manufacturing, and automation technologies

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

    + Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization

    As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

    + Process Development: Design, implement, and refine complex manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, productivity, and consistency

    + Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to manufacturing teams, mentoring junior engineers and acting as a subject matter expert for aerospace manufacturing methods

    + Communication: Communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences

    + Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure new product designs are optimized for efficient manufacturing.

    + Lean Manufacturing: Lead lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste, improve workflow, and enhance production efficiency

    + Tooling & Automation: Develop and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation strategies to streamline production processes and ensure repeatability

    + Compliance & Standards: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and other customer and regulatory requirements

    + Continuous Improvement: Identify, prioritize, and execute process improvement projects that reduce costs, enhance safety, and improve overall product quality

    + Project Management: Lead cross-functional project teams to implement new manufacturing technologies, launch new product introductions (NPI), and manage changes in production

    + Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions

    + Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers and external partners to optimize material selection, component quality, and supply chain efficiency

    Compensation Pay Range

     

    $100,000-115,000/yr based on experience
