A Brief Overview
Provides and installs home accessibility products that includes stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ceiling track lifts, and ramps. Responsible for completing in-home assessments, determining the best solution for in-home independence. Responsible for sales, repair of home safety equipment along with repairs for manual and power mobility wheelchairs.
What you will do
+ Ability to measure areas for requested in-home projects, prepare sketches to layouts, complete accurate bid quotations for the requested project. Secures the proper permits when needed for a project working with city, county, and state agencies.
+ Knowledge and performance of detailed transactions in Brightree including utilization of MyForms, entering new customers, completing sales orders, cash sales, and notes. Serves as the customer service representative for the rehab services product line as well as maintaining competent on all product lines offered within Avera Living@Home.
+ Is responsible for instructing patients on proper use and care of equipment. Must maintain high level of product knowledge. Ability to troubleshoot problems with equipment once provided or installed.
+ Maintains knowledge base of infection control standards, HQAA accreditation standards, and regulating requirements.
+ Assists the HME branch locations in planning and implementing rehab services according to the strategic plan. Serves as a resource to other HME staff and customers.
+ Obtain ongoing training on trade related issues.
+ Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Qualifications
The individual must be able to work the hours specified. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
+ Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC) - VGM Live at Home within 180 Days
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
+ Associate's in a trade related field such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry or masonry.
+ 1-3 years in home modifications and manual/power wheelchair repairs.
