    Job Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Preparation of the master production plan (MPS) based on the production plan presented in the SIOP. Report in a timely manner any problem that may arise to fulfill the plan. Either material shortages, machine capacity or lack of man hours.

    + Expedite operations and / or materials that are affecting the production schedule and this affects the monthly shipping and / or sales plan.

    + Supervise the efficient control of work orders on the production floor. supports planners in case of a problem and reports to the area manager if something goes out of goal.

    + Plan, develop and implement improvements to the production control system.

    + Participate in the inventory reduction plans and follows up on the NPI (MPS) file.

    + Coordinates with the different departments to improve the current performance of the department and production.

    + Supervises the personnel in area, assigns the tasks to ensure the continuous flow of work, performs performance evaluations of its subordinates and recommends development plans.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Job Qualifications:

    + 2 to 3 years of planning of a manufacturing operation experience.

    + 1 to 2 years of supervising experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Self-starter. Ability to solve problems, take responsibility and deliver results with a spirit of innovation and a strong commitment to excellence.

    + Proficiency in use of MS Office Software - advanced PowerPoint skills required.

    + Experience using MRP, MRP II, ERP, JIT, Kanban, production level loading, capacity resource planning, and Production Control.

    + APICS CPIM or CSCP desired but not required.

    Education/Experience

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Manufacturing or Supply Chain field.
