    Program Manager

     

    Overview

     

    Cadrex is seeking aProgram Managerto lead the successful execution of and production programs for our medical device customers. This role is responsible for program leadership across all phases of the product lifecycle, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality—ensuring full compliance with medical industry standards and customer expectations.

     

    The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned medical accounts, managing customer relationships, program performance, and internal coordination across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain. This role plays a critical part in maintaining regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485), driving risk mitigation, and supporting ongoing improvement in customer satisfaction, responsiveness, and product quality.

     

    This position reports to thePlant Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to theVP of Program Management.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Owns full Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability for successful program execution, ensuring all deliverables meet customer and regulatory requirements for quality, schedule, budget, and scope

     

    - Leads cross-functional teams—including engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain—through all phases of program execution, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to full-scale production

     

    - Serves as the primary customer interface for assigned medical programs; ensures clear, consistent communication and alignment on specifications, milestones, and compliance expectations

     

    - Drives internal responsiveness to customer priorities; ensures timely resolution of issues related to documentation, quality, and regulatory audits

     

    - Establishes and tracks program goals and performance metrics (KPI), including product quality, delivery performance, cost control, and technical progress

     

    - Ensures adherence to medical industry regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) and customer-specific quality and traceability requirements

     

    - Coordinates and leads formal design reviews and validation activities as part of the NPI process; ensures cross-functional readiness for each program phase

     

    - Proactively identifies risks related to quality, supply, and technical feasibility; drives mitigation plans in coordination with internal teams and the customer

     

    - Manages and documents all change requests and scope adjustments through a controlled change management process, ensuring traceability and customer approval

     

    - Provides regular program status updates to internal leadership and customers, including dashboard reporting (Green/Yellow/Red) and detailed risk summaries

     

    - Facilitates internal and customer-facing reviews, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring alignment on key deliverables and performance improvement opportunities

     

    - Owns execution and compliance of customer contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs); escalates concerns proactively when commitments are at risk

     

    - Oversees quarterly pricing updates, coordinating with commercial and finance teams to reflect changes in scope, volume, or cost drivers

     

    - Partners with quality and regulatory teams to ensure successful audits, inspections, and documentation control related to assigned programs

     

    - Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving quality, and enhancing customer satisfaction

     

    - Maintains and updates the NPI tracker, ensuring all new programs and product changes meet customer timelines and quality expectations

     

    - Provides clear and proactive communication of schedule risks, technical issues, and cross-functional dependencies

     

    - Ensures a successful handoff from development to production, validating that all manufacturing, quality, and documentation requirements are met

    Requirements

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    - 6 years of Project Management experience or a combination of 6 years Project Management and Project Engineering experience with technical product development projects

     

    - 6 years of phase gate development and integrated master scheduling (IMS) experience

     

    - Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and may require hearing protection in specific locations.
