    Job Description Summary

    Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Quality Systems, the Staff Quality Specialist for learning management at embecta plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the embecta’s global training strategy within the Quality Management System (QMS). This individual leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training processes that support embecta’s mission to deliver safe, high-quality medical devices to patients worldwide. Working cross-functionally and across regions, this role ensures that training programs are compliant, effective, and scalable. Key success metrics include improving on-time training completion and improving knowledge retention through enhanced learning tools and assessments. The role also contributes to audit readiness and global training process harmonization. This position offers a unique opportunity for a quality-driven professional to make a meaningful impact on global learning and operational excellence at embecta.

    The Staff Quality Specialist of learning management will be responsible for leading and managing the following activities:

    + Oversee the global strategy for the Learning Management System, ensuring it supports embecta’s strategic objectives and global training needs.

    + Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure training processes are standardized, yet flexible enough to meet local requirements.

    + Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all learning data within the LMS.

    + Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of LMS enhancements and upgrades in collaboration with IT, site learning administrators and external vendors.

    + Monitor training performance, generating and analyzing reports to inform decision-making and report on learning metrics to senior management.

    + Provide guidance and training to LMS users and administrators across the organization.

    + Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning technologies and methodologies, incorporating best practices into the LMS processes.

    + Develop and manage the LMS budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance of training tools/systems.

    + Support internal and external audits/assessments to ensure that the global Quality Management System is properly represented for training compliance.

    Basic Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Life Sciences, or related field

    + Experience managing training requirements in a regulated industry (Medical Device/Pharmaceutical preferred)

    + Expertise of ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR Part 820, EUMDR training compliance requirements

    + 5+ years of experience in deploying/managing LMS or similar platforms at a global level.

    + SAP SuccessFactors LMS Certification/ SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management 2H/2023 (Preferred)

    Preferred Requirements:

    + Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives.

    + Strong understanding of learning principles and technology's role in delivering effective training.

    + Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse stakeholder group across various levels of the organization.

    + Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and relationship management.

    + Analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
