    Job Summary

    As a Kensington Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing a defined portfolio of End User and Reseller Partners across North America. This role involves initiating and nurturing client relationships, delivering comprehensive training on Kensington’s product portfolio, and overseeing account and bid management through internal systems. Additionally, you will provide critical support to the Business Development Managers and National Account Managers, contributing to the overall success of the sales organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.

    Responsibilities

    + Sales Responsibilities:

    + Source new sales opportunities by actively engaging in inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.

    + Prioritize opportunities by analyzing lead data to identify and prioritize net-new business opportunities based on account size and potential growth.

    + Analyze historical sales data to identify opportunities for growth.

    + Work with Kensington’s outside Sales team to close leads and opportunities within your named accounts to exceed quota.

    + Prospect assigned end users and reseller accounts, cold calling as required.

    + Conduct online demos, presentations, and training for key prospects and customers.

    + Execute Kensington product campaigns and initiatives within the channel and across your managed accounts.

    + Based on revenue size, pass on opportunities and/or accounts to the outside Sales team.

    + Work with the Channel Marketing team to provide feedback on customer needs, preferences and industry trends.

    + Share voice of customer feedback to Product Marketing teams to aid in the evolution of the product portfolio.

    + Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to increase industry knowledge and gain new business contacts.

    + Account Mapping and Sales Tracking:

    + Oversee account mapping and sales tracking processes, ensuring accurate alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

    + Review point-of-sale (POS) trends, identifying slow-moving and top-selling products, and proactively communicate opportunities or issues to relevant teams.

    + Collaborate with the Marketing team to drive new opportunities based on historical sales data.

    + Develop reporting and dashboards as needed to manage your assigned accounts.

    + Support Field Sales Team when traveling with follow-up, product information, and tracking.

    + Answer first line customer inquiries on product questions, tracking, and estimate delivery dates.

    + Salesforce Bid Management:

    + Curate bids and leads into opportunities.

    + Assign new opportunities to the correct outside salesperson where applicable.

    + Process Sample requests as needed.

    + Develop process documentation as required.

    + Performance Metrics and Feedback:

    + Gather and analyze feedback from various internal and external teams, using this information to drive continuous improvement within the Inside Sales process.

    + Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

    + Monitor promotional and NPI performance across your accounts and communicate findings back to the internal stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is desired.

    + 2-4 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, or a related field is required.

    + Experience conducting thoughtful warm and cold calling is required.

    + Proven track record of relationship management, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

    + Strong selling skills and the ability to effectively pitch products and services to prospective customers.

    + A hunter mentality, with a proactive and persistent approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

    + Knowledge of Tech B2B/Channel and Retail is extremely beneficial.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of current technological trends, including how users leverage hardware devices for both business and personal uses is desired.

    + Strong analytical skills with a technical ability to leverage data and tools in your decisions (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, and Asana) are highly desired.

    + Experience leveraging Salesforce and Pardot is highly desired.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Office, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is required.

    + Able to communicate clearly and concisely to customers, peers, and management regarding strategy, execution, and results.

    + Self-starter with an ability to organize work, manage time, and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    + Able to travel up to 20% as needed.

     

    On-Target-Earning (OTE)** : **$55,000 - $60,000
