    The Opportunity:

    The **Industrial Base MILCON Project Manager** is responsible for the coordination of military construction (MILCON) projects directly supporting Aircraft Carrier Facilities and Infrastructure. This includes Coordinating the reporting of projects from initial concept and design through construction, commissioning, and turnover, ensuring risk to accomplishing construction projects by Mission Need Date is communicated to the Program Managers and PEO in a timely fashion. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial processes, facility requirements, and the unique challenges associated with constructing and renovating facilities critical to national security.

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop and manage correspondence (e.g. briefs, white papers, risk identification matrices) for MILCON projects related to the Aircraft Carrier Facilities and Infrastructure.

    + Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and end-users, to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.

    + Maintain competence in Naval Facilities processes and Commander, Naval Installations Command processes such as the Shore Mission Integration Group (SMIG) and Regional Mission Integration Group (RMIG).

    + Track project progress, identify and recommend mitigation risks, and report on project status to leadership.

    + Collaborate with acquisition professionals to integrate facility construction with equipment procurement and installation. Manage project closeout activities, including documentation, turnover, and warranty management.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Bachelor degree in a Technical discipline

    + 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably with experience in MILCON or industrial construction.

    + Familiarity with defense industrial base operations and requirements.

    + Strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and regulations.

    + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

    + Proficiency in project management software and tools.

    + **Active Secret clearance required**

    **Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $71,500 - $150,200
