Job Summary
Schedule: 3.5 days per week, 12-hour shifts, rotating every two weeks

Are you an energetic, service-focused individual ready to take the next step in your career? As a Patient Food Services Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our Food & Nutrition Services Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level manager eager to grow within the food service industry, especially in a healthcare environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Ensure patient and client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding expectations for food service.
+ Provide appropriate menu alternatives for patients based on dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
+ Collaborate daily with nursing staff to evaluate patient meal selection, tray completion, and delivery/retrieval processes.
+ Address and resolve patient concerns or escalate to the appropriate supervisor as needed.
+ Support all aspects of patient food service operations, including meal assembly and delivery, sanitation, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
+ Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in food service (healthcare, restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, or military experience is a plus).
+ Understanding of food service operations including food safety, sanitation, cost control, and quality presentation.
+ Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a team-oriented approach.
+ Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - with the ability to interact across all levels of staff and patients.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet use.
+ ServSafe Certification preferred.
