**Pay:** $19/hour

**Location:** Farmington, CT

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (First Shift)

Are you ready to be part of a next-generation manufacturing environment? Our client’s brand-new Smart Factory is seeking a skilled and motivated **Powder Coat Specialist** to support high-precision production in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

What You’ll Do

+ **Part Preparation:** Load parts onto the conveyor system and ensure they are clean, dry, and ready for powder coating.

+ **Painting & Coating:** Apply powder coatings with precision and consistency.

+ **Quality Assurance:** Inspect finished parts, document results, and ensure all coatings are defect-free.

+ **Rework & Troubleshooting:** Identify and resolve issues related to coatings and surface finishes.

+ **Tool & Equipment Operation:** Safely operate hand tools, grinders, forklifts, and other shop equipment.

+ **Finishing Tasks:** Grind, deburr, and clean parts to meet production standards.

+ **Color Changeovers:** Execute paint color transitions efficiently and accurately.

+ **Routine Maintenance:** Perform basic maintenance checks and contribute to continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.

What We're Looking For

+ Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with powder coating experience preferred.

+ Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 lbs.

+ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with lean manufacturing or quality processes.

+ Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-focused mindset.
