    **The Department of Orthopedics at Banner Health and Banner Medical Group (BMG) is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant** to join our growing team of orthopedic surgeons in Phoenix Metro - West Valley.Weprovide care to a varied group ofpatients with generalorthopedicand total jointsurgical needs.Our PA will seepatients in the orthopedic surgery clinic round on patients inthe hospital;and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a critical thinker, ability to work in a fast-paced environment andwork effectively within a team.

    Requirements:

    + Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona

    + Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

    + DEAwith prescriptive authority

    + ACLS/BLS

    + Experienced PA w/Orthopedic skill preferred

    Practice Details:

    + Full-time

    + Inpatient/Outpatient position | 3 days per week Clinic; 2 days per week OR

    + Call: Practice Call only; no Hospital Call (7 shifts per month to include one weekend)
