    Summary:

    Meta Reality Labs (RL) is building products that make it easier for people to connect with others. Mixed Reality (MR) is a team of world-class experts developing and shipping next generation hardware to move our industry-leading virtual reality systems forward. As a Silicon Technical Program Manager for MR New Technology Platforms, you will lead multidisciplinary teams to shape the future technologies by establishing requirements and defining custom silicon architecture through the silicon development cycle. You will contribute to the breakthrough work in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, displays, sensors, and innovative ways to advance technologies to achieve the company's Metaverse vision. We are looking for Technical Program Managers with experience across all aspects of custom silicon development ranging from concept to product intercept. This role will also expose you to many architectural and cross functional teams and you will get to experience vertically building products for the future. This position will enable you to leverage your technical and program management skills in a cross-company multi-functional leadership role.     Required Skills:

    Silicon Technical Program Manager, Metaverse Hardware Responsibilities:

    1. Serve as the primary point of accountability for Mixed Reality custom Silicon projects with external partners.

    2. Build and maintain working relationships across a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Architects, Technology leads, Electrical Engineering, Firmware, Software and external partners to set milestones, architecture requirements and priorities to enable successful silicon development that meets specs, schedule and budget requirements.

    3. Develop schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks and maintain execution throughout the duration of programs.

    4. Lead technical and business trade-offs influencing SoC roadmap and definition to find optimal solutions for meeting product targets

    5. Effectively communicate program status to key cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

    6. Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery.

    7. Manage delivery of chips for the product development builds and guide product teams on qualification to meet mass production timelines.

    8. Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.

    9. Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    10. 7+ years of experience in silicon/ASIC/IP program management.

    11. Experience dealing with ambiguity with a fast changing consumer electronics field.

    12. Experience in managing silicon product cycle from concept to delivery.

    13. Understanding of hardware and software integration challenges.

    14. Experience of owning/driving project development using well-defined metrics.

    15. Proven communicator and teammate with experience working effectively with teams with dynamic strengths and experience across multiple locations.

    16. Custom Silicon Design experience.

    17. Experience working effectively as an individual and in a multidisciplinary team.

    18. Results oriented, self-motivated, proactive with demonstrated creative & critical thinking.

    19. Experience collaborating and/or leading in a team environment.

    20. Knowledge of industry trends and disruptive technologies.

    Public Compensation:

    $167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
