Summary:

Meta is seeking a Component Quality Engineer responsible for working with suppliers and manufacturing partners to develop and implement quality programs for interconnects used in Meta Infrastructure.

Required Skills:

Component Quality Engineer, Interconnects Responsibilities:

1. Quality management of advanced interconnect (Cable cartridge, AEC, Copper Cable etc.).

2. Drive Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action and resolution of failures at Original design manufactures and in Meta data centers

3. Working with suppliers on improvements to manufacturing processes and throughputs, SI tests

4. Qualification and enablement of new suppliers in the cable domain

5. 20% travel

6. Manufacturing audits of vendors

Minimum Qualifications:

7. Proven experience on cable design, cable cartridge design (Ultra-pass etc.)

8. Proven experience on challenges for different connectors

9. Experience on copper cable manufacturing processes (Wire treatment, resistance laser welding, injection molding, etc.) and tests (harness and cartridge level tests etc.)

10. Understand quality and reliability metrics for cables and connectors

11. Knowledge of reliability qualification process for cables and connectors

12. 7+ years of experience in high speed copper cable manufacturing processes, tests, and reliability qualification processes

Public Compensation:

$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
