We are seeking a hands-on leader to supervise the 3rd shift operations in our Heat Exchangers department. As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, you will coordinate staff and workflow to meet customer schedules, drive performance excellence, and foster a positive and productive team environment. You’ll be a key player in ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
_T_ _he position is on 3rd shift (11:30pm-7:30 am M-F ) and supports work that covers a variety of shifts in a 24-hour/seven-day schedule. As such, there may be a need to support work on weekends._
What You Will Do
+ Provide leadership and clear direction to skilled bargaining unit employees on 3rd shift
+ Motivate and foster a positive work ethic and high team engagement
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with our CORE operating system and Roadmap objectives
+ Drive sustained improvements in safety, quality, production efficiency, material flow, and cost reduction
+ Coordinate and execute daily supervisory responsibilities including communication with support groups, project management, and issue resolution
+ Establish effective work schedules and prioritize workflow based on customer demand and available resources
+ Conduct daily toolbox and team meetings to ensure alignment and responsiveness to shifting production needs
+ Address any issues and engage the workforce in achieving cell goals
+ Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving
+ Maintain strict adherence to Quality and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Prior supervisory/leadership experience in the aerospace industry or similar manufacturing environment
+ Working experience and knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement tools
+ Working experience with SAP and IT Quality systems
+ Ability to work 3rd shift hours (11:30pm - 7:30am)

**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
