Our facility in Sunnyvale, CA has an immediate opportunity for a **level 3** Business Development Analyst to join our mission\. As our Remote Sensing \(RS\) Business Development Analyst for planning, executing and leading growth efforts for RS and related domains within the National Security Space \(NSS\) line of business \(LOB\), you will leverage current business and capabilities to penetrate core and near\-core RS markets and grow the LOB, diversify its portfolio and meet Long\-Range Plan \(LRP\) commitments totaling more than $1B\. The RS BD Analyst Sr will be responsible for discovering, qualifying, and maturing new opportunities, developing discriminating value propositions and offerings, and bidding effectively to achieve high win rates\.
Specific responsibilities: In this role you will\.\.\.
• Execute strategic growth plans focused on RS and related core and near\-core markets\.
• Lead efforts to assess the viability of RS markets, addressable customer budgets and competitive landscape to determine where investments should be focused\.
• Lead the identification, prioritization and qualification of pursuits through the LM Space new business process\. Support the management of the overall RS new business portfolio to ensure diversification of risk and achievement of LRP growth goals\.
• Orchestrate RS customer engagement activities across the NSS LOB, as defined in strategy and capture plans\. Initiate and grow customer relationships in core and near\-core markets to ensure mission understanding, competitive position and aggressive growth\.
• Oversee and lead capture and proposal activities within the RS new business portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategy and development of discriminating value propositions and competitive bid approaches in RS capture campaigns\.
• Communicate with and engage NSS LOB and LM Space senior leadership for the purpose of building advocacy and support from internal stakeholders and obtaining authorizations\.
• Collaborate closely with organizations across the NSS LOB, LM Space and the broader Lockheed Martin Corporation to ensure coordination of new business activities and maximum leverage of LMC resources to grow the business\.

Basic Qualifications:
• B\.S\. or B\.A\. degree required
• 4 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense, with part or full\-time experience in competing for new business
• Experience specifically with space\-based GEOINT markets, applicable customers and their missions, enabling technologies, core programs and key acquisitions is also strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel domestically with up to monthly frequency
• TS/SCI clearance or TS with ability to gain SCI is required
Desired Skills:
• A degree in Aerospace Engineering and/or Business is preferred
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• Specific experience in Intelligence Community programs and acquisitions is preferred
• Experience executing growth strategy to identify and qualify new markets and specific opportunities, executing a capture plan to shape and position, and developing a discriminating offering with strong value proposition
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in developing and delivering superior products with constrained schedules and resources
• Direct experience engaging with high\-level government stakeholders and customers in the Intelligence Community to understand mission need and effectively communicate a value proposition
• Demonstrated ability to proactively drive change and aggressively engage competitively to grow a large business unit in the aerospace industry
• Leadership and engagement skills to motivate and effectively direct a cross\-functional capture team

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 \- $157,550\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.

**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $102,800 \- $178,135\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\.
