As a Hearing Screening Assistant at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
+ Conducts newborn hearing screenings per established protocols under the direction of a supervising Audiologist.
+ Operates OAE and other designated equipment to conduct hearing screening on neonates and pediatric patients.
+ Completes required documentation, parent education, and follow-up, including referrals and tracking.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ One year of work experience in a health-related field or early childhood development preferred.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.60 - $22.88
