Position Details:

**Location:** Clearwater, FL (Hybrid)

**Status:** Full Time, Exempt

**Shift Hours:** 8 hours

The Medical Auditor is responsible for:

+ Compare the detailed charges on a bill to the supporting documentation to verify the validity of the charges included on the bill, serve as the Systems representative for insurance audits, research patient and internal billing questions, separate organ donor charges, and maintain a log of all chart audit requests and the related results.

+ Some travel within the local geographic area is required.

Requirements:

Education:

+ Required - Associates - Nursing; Preferred - Bachelors - Nursing

Credentials:

+ Required - RN (Registered Nurse) - State of Florida

Experience:

+ Required - 2 years of Clinical Related experience

+ Required - 2 years of Nursing experience

+ Preferred - 2 years of Critical Care experience

+ Preferred - 2 years of Surgical Services experience
