    **Title:** Endoscopy Technician Lead

    Position Details:

    **Location:** St Josephs South NorthEast Med Building

    **Status:** Full Time, Exempt: No

    **Shift Hours:** 6:30am - 5:00pm

    **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    **On Call:** Yes

    Responsibilities:

    + Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.

    + Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of patients within the endoscopy suite.

    + Controls, managers and orders departmental inventor, supplies and equipment

    + Coordinates at least one departmental specialty.

    + Assists with Beacon Preference card maintenance.

    + Precepts new Team Members.

    + Trouble shoot equipment failure and assists with Endoscopic procedures.

    + Works independently and with a team

    + Demonstrates interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

    + Has knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to the position

    + Must have computer, written and verbal communication skills appropriate to the position

    + Show strong organizational, and customer service skills

    Certification:

    + Required – BLS (Basic Life Support)

    Education:

    + Required – High School or Equivalent

    Experience:
