Job Description
Inver Hills Community College is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid instructor to teach the NURA 1001 **-** Nursing Assistant course at Farmington High School (Farmington, MN) for Fall 2025. (Total of 5 credits) This course is a part of the concurrent enrollment program.
The course runs from September 2 - November 25, 2025
Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 9:15am
Salary Range:
$44,144.00 - 96,906.00 Annually (Based upon 1.0 FTE of 30 credits per years. Pay will be prorated, based upon credit load).
* Salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2024 - 2025 MSCF Contract (http://www.minnstate.edu/system/working/docs/contracts/mscf-contract.pdf#page=61) , and conducted by the Minnesota State System Office.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
+ Diploma or associate degree in nursing.
Occupational Experience Requirement
+ Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience of direct patient care, one year must be in long term care.
Recency Requirement
+ One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Professional Requirement
+ Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Preferred Qualification
+ Higher education teaching experience with a diverse student population
+ Experience with learning communities or team teaching
+ Experience in curriculum development
+ Experience incorporating technology into curriculum delivery, including on-line instruction
+ Experience developing and using student-centered, active and experiential learning strategies
+ Experience integrating cross-cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives in course instruction
+ Experience assessing student academic achievement of campus-wide and classroom learning outcome
