    General Summary:

    As a highly valued member of the research team, the Clinical Research Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the successful coordination and implementation of research studies. Collaborating with external partners, including pharmaceutical companies, the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and esteemed multisite organizations such as NSABP, GOG, and ECOG, the Clinical Research Coordinator facilitates various protocol activities within the Cancer Research Department.

     

    In their role, the Clinical Research Coordinator demonstrates strict adherence to federal regulations, sponsor guidelines, and the policies and procedures established by Holy Cross Hospital. This ensures the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct are maintained throughout the research process.

     

    Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. Supports the goals of the clinical research program and The Cancer Institute.

    Minimum Licensure/Certification Required (if applicable):

    Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree in a health-related field (preferred.)

     

    _Good Clinical Practice_ (GCP) _Certification_

     

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

     

    Clinical research certification (preferred).

     

    Driver License.

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

    Must have knowledge of cancer and clinical protocols. Two years of related clinical research experience required. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to create and conduct presentations to public and professional audiences. Ability to analyze and synthesize data, prepare, and present reports as necessary. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Ability to understand federal regulations and translate those regulations to guide the research work. Able to effectively lead and guide a diverse multidisciplinary team of professionals engaged in research studies.

    Reporting Relationship:

    Reports directly to the Manager of Holy Cross Hospital Clinical Research Program. Organization and implementation of responsibilities to be accomplished through self-direction and initiatives.

     

    Pay Range: $37.18-$55.77
