    Position Overview

    The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize the company's supply chain. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on achieving cost savings and improving efficiency.

     

    Essential Job Duties

     

    + Create and execute sourcing plans that align with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring total cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

    + Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.

    + Lead and/or support negotiations with suppliers, both locally and globally, to secure the best terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery, and service agreements.

    + Oversee the development and management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

    + Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and availability.

    + Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing and supply chain activities.

    + Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes.

    + Work with HAECO Group Procurement understand and enhance group procurement policies, processes, and contracts.

    + Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sourcing initiatives.

    + Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

     

    What you need: (Requirements)

     

    Minimum

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

    + Experience with Category Management for both direct and indirect procurement categories.

    + Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + In-depth understanding of sourcing and procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

    + Proficiency in vendor management and risk mitigation/management.

    + Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

    + Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

     

    Preferred

     

    + Master’s Degree or certification in procurement.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable.

    Physical Requirements

    + Normal office environment where approximately 80% of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office area.

    + Normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination for keyboard operations is necessary approximately 50% of the time.

    + Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
