Director, Clinical Operations (DCO) - Hospice

Position requires 50-75% travel to the following states: MO, AZ, VA, NC, and SC
POSITION SUMMARY:
Collaborate directly with Division Director, office Directors and Clinical Leadership team members and Clinical Manager (CM) to ensure high level client service, clinical excellence, quality, documentation, and adherence to policies and procedures in accordance with _The BAYADA WAY_ . Accountable for supporting the clinical leaders in the hospice offices in effective execution of: **high quality clinical care, and professional development for the clinical team** . Participates in office quality improvement and performance improvement planning and integration to implementation monitoring outcomes for success. Attends practice meetings supporting the clinical considerations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Exemplifies characteristics of _The BAYADA Way_ : compassion, excellence and reliability.
+ Four (4) year college degree.
+ Holds a current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
+ Three (3) to five (5) years of BAYADA Home Health Care Clinical Leadership (CM/RM) experience, DCO or DCE experience or comparable experience within home health.
+ Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
+ Demonstrated record of goal achievement.
+ Demonstrated record of successfully taking on more responsibility with positive results and ambition to grow past current position.
+ Completed Continuing Education Requirements (CEUs) as required by regulation.
+ Completed criminal background and federal/state program exclusions checks.
+ Exceptional external candidates with home health leadership experience will be considered
+ Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
+ Maintain current knowledge of, and follow standards of practice, BAYADA’s policies and procedures, and regulations (government, contract, accrediting body).
+ Strive continually for professional growth and development through continuing education and/or organizational membership.
+ Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
+ Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.
