Partner Executive, Sage Intacct Accountants Program
Job Description:
The Sage Intacct Accountants Program (SIAP) is a partnership between Sage Intacct andCPA.com(an AICPA company) that provides a wide variety of tools and benefits to help our partners build a successful outsourced accounting practice. As an SIAP Partner Executive, you will play an integral role in the success of our SIAP partners. You will build and manage relationships with partners as a trusted advisor. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a territory that meets or exceeds quota across a group of partners assigned within the territory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with outsourcing partners to drive business growth for Sage.
• Work with partners to achieve high revenue growth and success in their SIAP practice.
• Drive growth in Client Advisory Services with SIAP Partners, focusing on vertical industries or niches.
• Implement industry and firm cross-sell strategies to grow partners.
• Monitor goals set by partners and Sage to increase unit and revenue productivity.
• Assist in creating SIAP business plans to guide firms in selling Sage Intacct and their services.
• Engage in sales and marketing strategy discussions with partner marketing.
• Collaborate with firms on client pricing and proposal preparation.
• Maximize firm opportunities by sharing best practices within the community.
• Identify product and service upsell opportunities with SIAP firms.
• Track and communicate key performance metrics, providing feedback for course correction.
• Manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple Sage products and decision makers.
• Create and execute action plans to engage Sage cross-functional teams in partner sales and development efforts.
• Encourage partners to effectively utilize co-op spend and advise on best practices.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in technology sales.
• Knowledge in Client Advisory Services, outsourced accounting, and/or BPO practice.
• Experience working with CPA firms in selling services or technology.
• Confidence presenting to executives
• Working knowledge of business models and growth drivers.
• Ability to manage, articulate, and communicate complex processes and solutions in writing.
• Collaborative and cooperative, able to engage internal resources across departments, articulate, and a team player with good conflict resolution skills.
• BA/BS in finance/accounting preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge in outsourced accounting and/or BPO practice.
• 3-5 years of experience with Sage Intacct or other mid-market accounting software.
• Expertise in core Sage Intacct products and advanced modules, familiarity with Market Place Partner (MPP) products.
• Experience in channel relationship management.
• Strong relationship-building skills and understanding of the sales cycle.
• Business development, account management, and business planning skills.
• Understanding of consultative solution selling and the service industry.
• Public speaking experience is a plus.
