Job Description

Responsible for program management for semi-conductors sourcing for Software driven vehicles. Closely partner with purchasing and cross functional teams including controlling, treasury, legal, tax, and customs to ensure compliance and negotiations. Provide strong financial control over GM spend and continuous monitoring of GM commitment with dynamic long term volume forecast. Lead cross functional teams and drive execution of long-term semi-conductors sourcing, capacity reservation direct agreement with semis and wafer manufacturers and securing semi-conductor capacity for GM. Finance lead for distribution strategy with logistic provider for semi-conductors including Arrow Buffer stock and RASIC-S. Closely work with Cost engineering team to work out Target cost for sourcing of Semi-conductors and understand Integrated Device manufacturer and Wafer manufacturer cost including: wafer fab size, technology node, fab location, process details, packaging location and packaging details. Analyze and submit monthly forecasted material cost changes called Future Effective. Coordinate the procurement of semiconductor supply for both short and long term. Analyze material cost trends at the vehicle level and proactively work to identify risks and opportunities to the forecast. Prepare analysis and charts to support GPSC Finance and Operational leadership reviews. Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas to drive process efficiency and increase transparency into material cost and improve product line profitability. Prepare, participate, and support cross- functional special studies. Two days work from home available.

Additional Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study. Three (3) years of experience as a Supplier Recovery Analyst, Portfolio Recovery Analyst, Assistant Program Purchasing Manager, Program Buyer, Program Purchasing Planner, Supplier Development Engineer, or related occupation. Three years of experience in the following: Business Analytical tools including Power BI; Financial Reporting system including Hyperion; Business and financial acumen; financial modeling and NPV analysis; financial statements; and GM Costing systems.
